Issue Position

Every day the American farmer works hard to grow the food we put on our family dinner tables. As a member of the House Agriculture Committee, I fought hard to protect America's family farmer and rancher by leading the way on behalf of rural education, local health care, and the infrastructure needs of agricultural communities. I also supported agricultural research and trade agreements that opened markets for California products and created local jobs, and have been honored with the Friend of Farm Bureau for Outstanding Service Award.
