Today Congressman Kevin Cramer released the following statement on the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the allied invasion of Normandy during World War II.

"It is hard to put into words the significance of this day in world history. We are fortunate to still have surviving D-Day veterans in our midst who can bear witness to the heroism demonstrated at Normandy beach. Today we remember the service of those brave men and women and thank them for their great sacrifices."
