Today women make up 47% of the workforce and women are the primary or sole income earner for 40% of families in America. It's simple, when women succeed, America succeeds. I'm fighting for strong, common-sense policies that addresses the economic challenges facing women and families today. We must do more to help women balance work and family by broadening medical and leave policies, expanding access to affordable child care, ensure equal pay for equal work and raising the minimum wage.
