Labrador Reacts to Release of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl

Rep. Raúl Labrador (R-ID) released the following statement after Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who has been held prisoner in Afghanistan for the past five years, was freed and handed over to U.S. special forces:

"I am thrilled that Bowe Bergdahl has been freed and will soon be reunited with his parents. Like many Idahoans, I have been praying for his safe return home. We are all thankful this day has finally come."

Sgt. Bergdahl is from Hailey, Idaho.
