Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement in honor of Memorial Day:
"Today, we remember and honor those who served our country and gave their lives to protect the freedom we all hold dear. As we reflect on the heroism and devotion of the many brave service men and women who paid the ultimate price, we must never forget to thank and pray for their families and loved ones. And let us all rededicate ourselves to teaching the next generation to show respect and reverence for the fallen so that every generation understands the true meaning of Memorial Day."
