Rep. Schneider Hosts "On the Table' Discussion

U.S. Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) hosted a discussion with local entrepreneurs and growth accelerator leaders as part of the Chicago Community Trust's On the Table initiative.

To mark its 99th birthday, The Chicago Community Trust invited residents from across the Chicagoland region to participate in On the Table conversations to spark discussion about our community's challenges, strengths, identity and future. There are more than 1,000 events taking place, which will involve more than 10,000 area residents.

Rep. Schneider's On the Table discussion focused on ways to promote innovation in our communities and help startup businesses get off the ground and grow.

Schneider, a member of the House Committee on Small Business, introduced the Accelerate Our Startups Act to expand public-private efforts to help startup companies achieve success.
