Following the announcement that the House of Representatives will vote to form a select committee to investigate the Benghazi terror attack, Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-06) issued the following statement:
"For two years the Administration has stonewalled congressional investigations into the Benghazi terror attack. I have been calling for a Select Committee since I took office, and I fully support giving them every tool necessary to investigate what happened that night. The American people deserve to know the truth."
DeSantis is a co-sponsor of Rep. Frank Wolf's H.Res. 36, which would establish a select committee to investigate and report on the attack on the United States consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
