Congressman Tom Cotton (R-Dardanelle) released the following statement in response to Secretary Kerry's remarks yesterday about Israel as an "Apartheid state":
"Secretary Kerry's comments were inflammatory and inaccurate. Israel is a strong, democratic ally in the Middle East and the Arabs who enjoy the most freedom and prosperity are those Arabs living inside Israel. Moreover, Secretary Kerry's comments directly undermine the peace process by wrongly suggesting Israel is a barrier in negotiations. The United States must continue to stand with Israel and promote the freedom, liberty, and rule of law they support. Secretary Kerry, at a minimum, should apologize for his remarks and the damage they have caused."
