MORAN TO TAKE VIEWERS' CALLS DURING
APPEARANCE ON KANSAS PUBLIC TELEVISION

Show to Focus on 2005 Congressional Session

BUNKER HILL - Congressman Jerry Moran will discuss the 2005 congressional session and take calls from viewers during a live television appearance on Smoky Hills Public Television. The program, entitled "Mid-America Life: A Conversation with Jerry Moran," will air Saturday, April 9, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Callers will be able to phone in from across the state, including the Wichita and Topeka areas, to ask questions. Viewers may call toll-free at 1-800-337-4788 from 7:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Dr. Richard Heil, Director of the Docking Institute of Public Affairs at Fort Hays State University, will moderate the program for Smoky Hills Public Television. Also taking part in the program will be John Montgomery, publisher and editor of the Hays Daily News.

The program will air live on Smoky Hills Public Television and be carried on Public Broadcast Affiliates throughout the state from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9.
