Senate Republicans vote against rewarding hard-working Wisconsin families

Statement

"Today, Washington failed the American people. Twenty eight million Americans will go to work tomorrow at a minimum wage job they are working full time and when they look at Washington they will see that a minority in the Senate has once again obstructed an effort to respect and reward hard work. I believe that no American who works full-time should live in poverty and that our economy is strongest when we expand opportunity for everyone. That is why I will continue my fight to give over 587,000 Wisconsinites a fair shot at working hard and getting ahead."
