U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, today issued the following statement in response to President Obama's announcement of another round of sanctions against Russia:

"A drip, drip, drip of sanctions and more rhetoric is not what Ukraine needs. The U.S. should be leading an international effort with NATO to ensure Ukraine is able to defend itself against further Russian invasion and reduce European vulnerability to Russia's wielding of energy as a weapon."
