I stood up against the state run Obamacare exchanges because it was the right thing to do. People of Idaho are suffering under Obamacare, and the last thing Idahoans need is our own state to join the democrat states in partnering with the President to prop up Obamacare. As your governor, I will begin to undo the damage caused by Governor Otter's efforts to force Obamacare on the good people of Idaho. You deserve a governor willing to stand up to President Obama and the bureaucrats in Washington, D.C., not one who happily helps them enforce this disastrous law -- a law that is destroying patient-centered health care all across this country and especially right here in Idaho. As your governor, I will lead the effort to create a healthcare system where transparency, competition, and the empowerment of individuals with choice will drive down costs and improve access to care -- because that's what Idahoans deserve. We don't need Obamacare, we can do healthcare ourselves.
