Issue Position

First, I stand by my unwavering commitment to put Westfield First, and my decision not to sign any obligations to special interest groups. My support is overwhelmingly from our community and includes public school employees, firefighters, police officers, older adults, young adults, health care professionals, the business community and our veterans. My singular focus is serving their interests as Westfield's State Representative. Once a public servant signs a pledge to a special interest group, his allegiances and priorities begin to shift away from the constituents to those of the special interest group. I will never sign a pledge of that nature.
