U.S. Congressman Marlin Stutzman issued the following statement regarding Tax Day.
"Tax Day is a recurring nightmare for Hoosiers. Families and small businesses who can't afford corporate lobbyists and special carve-outs slog through the code's 70,000 pages of rules and regulations. It's not hard to see why Americans spend billions of hours and extra dollars just to comply with the tax man. Americans deserve top-to-bottom tax reform that simplifies the code and lowers rates for everyone. Washington is $17 trillion in debt because bureaucrats spend and take too much not because hardworking families keep too little."
