Today, Representative Steven Horsford (NV-4) released the following statement regarding the Bureau of Land Management's decision to halt the roundup of cattle on federal land:

"I'm pleased that the BLM will be dismantling their roundup operation in an effort to ensure the safety of employees as well as the commuity at large. This is an appropriate action to defuse a situation that never should have escalated to the extent that it did. Later today, I will be discussing with local leaders and BLM officials how to support the dismantling of the operation; local, state, and federal officials need to work in a cooperative manner to remove the BLM assets without any further intimidation from either side."
