Today, Congresswoman Julia Brownley issued the following statement on the bus crash in Northern California, which included high school students from Ventura County:

"I am deeply saddened by the tragic news of the fatal collision in Northern California. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who have lost their lives in this horrific incident. I offer my most sincere condolences to the families, and I wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured, including the students from Ventura County."
