Griffin: House Budget Plan Will "Save Hardworking Taxpayers Money, Balance the Budget and Grow Good-Paying Jobs'

Statement

Date: April 2, 2014
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement after Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (WI-01) introduced the FY2015 House Republican budget, The Path to Prosperity:

"It's irresponsible to take more from workers and their families so Washington can spend billions of dollars more. Apparently, Senate Democrats support the same old status quo--they're once again shirking their duty and refusing to produce a budget--while my colleagues and I are fighting for real solutions that will save hardworking taxpayers money, balance the budget and grow good-paying jobs."
