Joyce Reacts to Latest Obamacare Delay

U.S. Congressman Dave Joyce (OH-14) released the following statement today regarding the Obama administration's decision to once again delay part of the Affordable Care Act, this time pushing back the March 31st enrollment deadline.

"With Obamacare enrollment numbers coming in far lower than the Obama administration hoped, it's not surprising that they've opted for yet another delay," Joyce said. "Only a couple weeks ago, Secretary Sebelius insisted to Congress that the enrollment deadline would not be extended.

"Ohioans have had enough. Faced with higher premiums, policy cancellations and losing their doctors, many people cannot understand how the Obama administration can continue picking and choosing which parts of the health care law to enforce and which parts to conveniently delay. At this point, President Obama has even given big businesses a break by delaying the employer mandate. It's time for the administration to act with fairness toward all hardworking Americans and permanently delay this unworkable law."
