In a free enterprise system the government should not pick winners and losers in the marketplace, but in America, that's exactly what the federal government does through the IRS.

Our tax code is burdensome and complicated for most Americans, especially small businesses. There is no reason, in this day and age, that we shouldn't be simplifying and streamlining the process for all Americans and businesses. Any tax increases on corporations, small businesses or individuals, stifles economic growth.

The bottom line is that every dollar in the government's coffers is a dollar that would be better spent by the taxpayer who earned it. As a US Senator, looking out for you, the taxpayer, will be my number one priority. We can also improve the economy by fixing the tax code and by ending crony capitalism. I will detail my positions on tax policies that I believe will reduce the tax burden and improve our economy.
