Today Maryland Congressman Chris Van Hollen issued the following statement on the Senate confirmation of Sarah Bloom Raskin as the next Deputy Secretary of the Treasury:
"I applaud Sarah Bloom Raskin's confirmation today as the new Deputy Secretary of the Treasury. Sarah has a long history of working on behalf of Marylanders to create jobs, improve consumer protections, and ensure a strong economy. She will now put that experience and dedication to public service to work for all American families.
