U.S. Congressman Marlin Stutzman issued the following statement today after President Obama released his budget request for fiscal year 2015.
"President Obama has again demonstrated his unwillingness to tackle our nation's fiscal crisis. By suggesting that Washington spend an extra $791 billion, raise taxes by $1.8 trillion, and add $8.3 trillion to the debt, it seems no one at the White House knows the difference between a serious budget and a wish list. While I am pleased that the President's budget retains the strategic capabilities of the Indiana Air National Guard, I am disappointed that the overall budget continues the "borrow, tax and spend' cycle that has already put taxpayers $17 trillion in debt. Hoosiers deserve much better."
