Sen. Murkowski Comments on BOEM Atlantic Coast Resource Survey Review

U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) today released the following statement on the environmental review for the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management's geological and geophysical review of survey activities off the Atlantic coast.
"I am still reviewing the report, but I think it is a shame that it has taken this long to begin the work needed to survey our nation's energy resources off the Atlantic coast," Murkowski said. "I hope this review will mean boats in the water this year, followed very soon by lease sales."
Murkowski is the ranking Republican on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
