Our tax code is broken. It is complicated, confusing, and chock-full of special-interest loopholes. It is time we evaluate each and every one of these expenditures and simplify the code once and for all. Tax reform will be a challenging undertaking. But you sent me to Washington to take on the tough tasks. I am committed to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to simplify our tax code.
