For more than 40 years, we've been talking about energy independence and environmental consciousness with far too little to show for it. But now, in this 21st Century global marketplace, advancements in green and renewable energy can revolutionize the way we conduct business and live our lives, as well as create millions of new jobs in the sustainable field. Protecting our environment truly can spark remarkable economic growth.

The energy sector is currently an unbelievably underdeveloped market, and as we move away from overdependence on foreign oil, it is perhaps one of the most important markets we have. Increased domestic energy production from oil, gas and safe nuclear power is a must to achieve independence, but we can no longer solely rely on finite resources, nor can we continue permanently harming our delicate environment and fragile ecosystems. Energy security will be more a result of innovation than exploration. Through continued research and development of green, renewable energy sources, including solar, wind, geothermal, and nuclear, we can move toward reducing, and eventually ending our dependence on fossil fuels that produce harmful green house gases.
