I believe the private sector is the best champion of our farmers. Farmers in North Dakota do not need Washington instructing them on how to farm and care for their land. Ensuring crop insurance remains decoupled from conservation programs is a top priority for our farmers and ranchers. This, along with other appropriate programs, will provide a safeguard for the future of farming across America.
The Farm Bill is currently being considered in Congress. Below is a comparison between the versions proposed by the House and Senate.
