Rep. Peters, Military Leaders, and Veterans Advocates Announce Military Transition Support Project

Today, Congressman Scott Peters (CA-52) joined with local military leaders, veterans advocates, and private-sector stakeholders to launch the Military Transition Support Project (MTSP), a collaborative community effort to help the transition of recently discharged veterans into civilian life and employment.
"This collaborative effort will improve the quality of life for servicemembers across San Diego as they return to civilian life," Rep. Peters said. "Providing a central portal for benefits, employment, and housing will help simplify the process and get these dedicated, disciplined men and women into new jobs -- benefiting our local business community and utilizing the unique skills these individuals possess."
