Marriage Equality

Hoosiers, like Americans in every state, have come to see that discrimination based on sexual preference is an evil that is to be avoided. This change in attitude has been coming slowly for decades but has taken on real speed of late.

The Republican leadership of the General Assembly rejects this change. They are not willing to admit that they are on the wrong side of history. They want to enshrine discrimination in our State Constitution.

I will fight them every step of the way.
