U.S. Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) issued the following statement regarding U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz's visit today to Texas:
"I'd like to welcome Secretary Moniz to Texas, where an energy renaissance is alive and well and creating high-paying jobs across the state. As his boss continues to delay the Keystone pipeline and the thousands of jobs it is poised to generate, I hope the Secretary will see firsthand in Texas what can happen when the federal government is kept from interfering, and enterprising Americans are free to explore opportunities, make the most of our resources, and create jobs for their fellow man and woman."
