Hudson Statement on the 41st Anniversary of Roe v. Wade

WASHINGTON-Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) issued the following statement on the 41st anniversary of the Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade.

"Today marks the 41st anniversary of a tragic event in our nation's history -- a devastating Supreme Court decision that has caused the death of nearly 56 million innocent children," said Rep. Hudson. "As a country, we have a moral obligation to stand up to protect the most innocent in our society and to be a voice for those who are not given the opportunity to speak. Life is the most sacred, precious gift from God. I will continue to work to end the cruel practice of abortion and support legislation that protects the rights of our unborn children."
