Cassidy Supports Pension "Fix" For Military Personnel

Today, Congressman Bill Cassidy, M.D. praised House and Senate negotiators for protecting medically retired military personnel from pension cuts in the omnibus spending bill that will fund government operations for Fiscal Year 2014. The provision also protects survivor benefit plan annuitants. Dr. Cassidy released the following statement:

"Caring for our disabled veterans should be a national priority. With this in mind, it was important that this appropriations bill recognize this priority. I will continue to work on the behalf of all veterans to ensure their needs are addressed."
