As Senator Scott's regional director in the Lowcountry, I attended a groundbreaking ceremony earlier this week for a Charleston-based software firm. They will be expanding their operations on Daniel Island with a $60 million investment that will add 1,200 new jobs in the area.
It's a pleasure to see homegrown companies continue to bring jobs and income to our community, and this is one announcement in a long string of positive jobs news for South Carolina. We wish them well and encourage other businesses to call our state home!
