Congresswoman Duckworth Announces National Endowment of the Arts Grant for Elk Grove Village

Today, Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth (IL-08) announced that the National Endowment of the Arts (NEA) has awarded a $10,000 grant to the Anilia Sinha Foundation for the Promotion of Arts and Culture of India in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The Arts Engagement in American Communities grant will support the arts and culture of India Educational Programs and further promote the importance of diverse and admirable art in the community.

"I am proud that Elk Grove Village is receiving this grant," said Congresswoman Duckworth. "One of the strengths of our community is its tremendous diversity. This NEA grant will help my neighbors learn and benefit from the cultural contributions of Indian-Americans. The taxpayers of Illinois contribute more than their fair share to the Federal government and I am pleased to see that resources are coming back to the 8th Congressional District."
