Rokita -- Domestic Energy Leads to American Jobs

Press Release

Date: Nov. 21, 2013
Location: Washington, DC

Representative Todd Rokita released the following statement after the passage of several pro-jobs domestic energy bills on Wednesday, November 20, and Thursday, November 21, 2013.

"Job creation remains a top priority of mine. These commonsense jobs bills will lead to thousands of American jobs and reduce the skyrocketing gas and energy prices that are crushing Hoosier families and preventing businesses from hiring new employees.

Increasing American energy production is the most critical step Congress can take to reduce energy prices now and in the future while creating thousands of new jobs. We must put a stop to the Obama administration's attacks on domestic energy production. Domestic energy leads to American jobs," said Rokita.

These bills, if they become law, will lead to job creation through increased domestic energy production and streamlining a burdensome regulatory process that has increased energy costs and slowed job growth.
