Rep. Schneider on Affordable Care Act Fix

Statement

U.S. Congressman Brad Schneider (IL-10) released the following statement after voting to allow people to keep their current health care plan as the Obama Administration works to fix the online exchanges.

"I've consistently said that while I support the Affordable Care Act, it's not perfect and there are aspects of the law that should be improved," Schneider said. "The rollout of the online exchanges has been frustrating and, frankly, is unacceptable. While the Obama Administration works to fix the website, there must be action taken so that individuals who are happy with the coverage they currently have are able to keep it as was promised."
