Ayotte: Anemic Obamacare Enrollment Numbers Are Tip Of The Iceberg

With the administration's announcement today that just 269 Granite Staters have selected a plan on the Obamacare marketplace exchange, U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) said that the problems with the health care law go much deeper than a broken Web site. Earlier in the day, she took to the Senate floor once again to share personal stories from New Hampshire citizens who have told her that they're seeing coverage cancellation notices and having to pay higher insurance premiums.

"These anemic enrollment numbers are just the tip of the iceberg. There are underlying structural problems with Obamacare that I'm hearing about every day from New Hampshire residents, including canceled health coverage and higher premiums," said Senator Ayotte. "The president needs to call a time out on this law so that we can come together on a bipartisan basis to find solutions that allow Americans to have access to the health care they need, from the doctor they want, at a price they can afford."
