Pete Sessions Reaction to ObamaCare Enrollment Numbers

Statement

U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX-32), Chairman of the House Rules Committee and a Member of House Republican Leadership, today released the following statement in response to the Obama Administration's announcement that only 26,794 have signed up for health insurance on the federal exchange:

"The health care enrollment numbers released today, which include people who have selected a plan but haven't actually purchased one, underscore the fact that ObamaCare isn't working. Unfortunately for the American people, the disastrous rollout of the website and the low enrollment numbers are merely a small part of a much larger problem. While only 26,794 people have selected plans on the federal exchange, at least 3.5 million Americans have received cancellation notices from their insurance provider. I believe that the American people deserve better and will continue to fight to fully repeal and replace ObamaCare with solutions that provide access to quality, affordable health care."
