Wagner Responds To Senator Durbin's Outrageous Allegation

Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO) released the following statement in response to Senator Durbin's (D-IL) outrageous allegation that one House Republican Leader told the president during a White House meeting, "I cannot even stand to look at you."

"Senator Durbin's accusation against House Republican leaders is not only outrageous, but a blatant falsehood as well," said Rep. Ann Wagner. "The senior senator from Illinois should either disclose his source, or retract this bogus allegation immediately and apologize for lying to the American people. The American people are tired of these partisan attacks, and they just want Congress to work together and get the job done."
