Cornyn: A Six-Week Delay Won't Get Obamacare Ready For Primetime

Statement

Date: Oct. 24, 2013
Location: Washington, DC

U.S. Senator John Cornyn, R-Texas, released the following statement after the White House announced that the penalty for not purchasing health insurance may be delayed by up to six weeks:

"After more than three years, Obamacare still isn't ready for primetime and a six-week delay won't change anything. Every minute the President spends slow-walking this disaster is costing taxpayers more money. He needs to face reality: Obamacare is coming apart at the seams and it's time to put this broken law to rest."
