Today, Congressman Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced his opposition to the government funding resolution proposed in the United States Senate. Dr. Cassidy released the following statement:

"I will oppose this deal. This deal does not end special Obamacare breaks for Senators or Members of Congress nor does it address the long-term threats to our debt and deficit."
