Cotton Statement on Passage of the Continuing Resolution for Fiscal Year 2014

Statement

Date: Sept. 30, 2013
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Tom Cotton (R-Dardanelle) released the following statement after tonight's vote on the Continuing Resolution for Fiscal Year 2014:

"Tonight, I voted to keep our government fully funded, while also repealing Congress's special exemption from Obamacare. Now, the Democratic Senate has a simple choice: keep the government open or keep their special Obamacare exemption. I call on Senate Democrats to put the well-being of Arkansans ahead of their personal self-interest--pass this bill and keep our government open."
