Rokita: CR Rightfully Defunds Obamacare Train Wreck

Representative Todd Rokita released the following statement after the House considered a Continuing Resolution (CR)to fund the federal government and defund Obamacare, the massive overreach of the federal government into the personal health care decisions of all Americans. The legislation passed 230-189 with bipartisan support.

"Today's vote responsibly funds our federal government and rightfully defunds the Obamacare train wreck. Obamacare has taken a significant toll on our economy, jobs, and families and this is before the full weight of the law takes effect. It is now up to the Senate to determine if they will burden Hoosier families with this job-killing attack on our personal health care choices," Rokita said.
