Representative Todd Rokita and members of the Republican Study Committee's (RSC) Health Care Working Group, today unveiled the American Health Care Reform Act -- a bill that presents consumer-driven, commonsense health care reforms to increase access and reduce costs for all Americans.

Rokita's remarks at the press conference focused on the impact consumer information and price transparency can have on health care costs.

The proposal, written by the working groups members -- RSC Chairman Steve Scalise, Working Group Chairman Dr. Phil Roe, Rep. Marsha Blackburn, Rep. Renee Ellmers, Rep. John Fleming, Rep. Paul Gosar, and Rokita -- is a first step forward in returning to patient-first health care rooted in free market principles.
