Pryor, Boozman Announce $3.1 Million for Texarkana School District

U.S. Senators Mark Pryor and John Boozman today announced that the Texarkana School District will receive a $3.1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education Magnet Schools Assistance Program to ensure that Arkansans students have an opportunity to take advantage of challenging curriculum and achievement standards.

"This federal grant is big win for the Texarkana School District," said Pryor. "These funds will support Texarkana's goal to create a diverse, challenging, and high-quality educational environment. A huge thank you goes out to the District for keeping our kids competitive in today's changing educational landscape."

"This grant is a commitment to delivering an educational environment that helps prepare Texarkana students for a bright future in our global economy.
