My Response to the President's Address on the Situation in Syria

Statement

The president should've been leading in Syria for two years, as I've long advocated. Finally, Syria has made minor concessions after a threat of military action. But deals with dictators who gas their people and harbor American traitors seldom turn out well. I'm afraid President Obama has made a terrible mess of things, emboldening our enemies and hurting our troops and allies. I fear this agreement will prove futile, though I hope not.
