Collins Applauds Advancement of Water Legislation

Congressman Doug Collins (GA-09) today applauded the work of the House Transportation and Infrastracture Committee with the successful markup of the Water Resources Reform and Development Act of 2013 (WRRDA). Congressman Collins said:
"Fair water resource development is crucial for Georgia. Early in this process, we reached out to the committee and urged members to make it a priority to produce a bill that did not favor one state over another. I appreciate and commend Chairman Shuster's leadership and the committee's work today, and I look forward to working with my colleagues topass WRRDA in the House of Representatives."
