On the twelfth anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks, U.S. Representative Gary Peters today released the following statement:
"Today marks twelve years since the terrorist attacks of September 11th - a tragic day America will never forget. Today, let us remember the families, friends, firefighters, and first responders who lost their lives on 9-11 and in the aftermath. It is incumbent on us to honor their memory by renewing our commitment to the unity and service that brought our nation together in the days following the attacks."
