Every day in the United States, eight children are killed by guns. It's time to stand up to the NRA which blocks even the most basic, common sense gun safety legislation in Congress. Katherine supports reinstating the assault weapons ban, closing the gun show loophole, and implementing universal background checks on gun sales.
When the NRA tried to make it legal to carry a concealed weapon without approval from local police, Katherine helped put together a coalition of law enforcement, district attorneys, victims of gun violence and others to successfully defeat the NRA. It's time to do the same in Congress.
