Gwen Moore Responds to President Obama Syria Statement

Today President Obama addressed the American people regarding the use of chemical weapons in Syria and what role the United States should play in containing these attacks. Congresswoman Gwen Moore (WI -4) released the following statement:
"The atrocious acts President Assad has committed against his people are a direct violation of human rights and a threat to our international peace.
"I am pleased President Obama has decided to seek congressional authorization for military action in Syria.
"I will continue to fully review the recent intelligence regarding the chemical attacks in Syria. I look forward to engaging in a comprehensive and productive debate on whether the United States should take military action."
