Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-TX28) attended the monthly meeting of the American Association of Retired Persons, Laredo Chapter, on Tuesday, August 13th at 2pm.

"Today I spoke to the American Association of Retired Persons, Laredo Chapter about important issues in Congress now, including immigration reform, social security, Medicare, and budget cuts, all of which have an impact on Laredo. In my legislative update, I expressed my support for comprehensive immigration reform, the continued strength of the Medicare and Social Security systems, and the need to balance fiscal responsibility with funding for valuable programs."
