Bilirakis Statement Regarding Administration's Decision to Delay Employer Health Care Mandate

Statement

Date: July 2, 2013
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Gus M. Bilirakis (R-FL), member of the Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee, released the following statement regarding the Obama Administration's decision to delay the employer health care mandate until 2015:

"The Administration's announcement today that it would delay implementation of ObamaCare's employer mandate demonstrates that even the law's authors are realizing it is both unworkable and bad policy for Americans. I continue to oppose the new health care law and will work with my colleagues to find ways to repeal and replace it with commonsense reforms that truly address the challenges of our nation's health care system."
